Training
A disciple of the photographer Alejandro Kuropatwa from 2000 to 2003, López has held image and design seminars with Jorge Gummier Maier (Rojas Cultural Center) and Yves Zimmerman (Palermo University) as well as a photography master class with Ignacio Iasparra from the Rojas Cultural Center.

Professional Career
López has been working with Pump Diseño since 1996. The pieces he created were officially selected for the Electronic Art Festival (1999, National Museum of Fine Arts); the First Design and Communications Festival in Buenos Aires (2000, Borges Cultural Center) and the Letras Latinas Biennial (2004, Recoleta Cultural Center). His works have also been published in Argentina and abroad in magazines and periodicals such as Tipográfica, Summa, Raygun (USA), Mute (just pictograms), Black Tipográfico (Spain) and Diseño Gráfico Latinoaméricano, published by Taschen in 2008, for example.

Artistic career
In 2001, López took part in the collective exhibition “Discípulos de Kuropatwa” (Disciples of Kuropatwa) curated by Kuropatwa himself at the Espacio Giesso.

He worked with Pump Diseño on the MTV Video Music Awards Latino catalogue published in 2002.
In April 2003, he presented “Latente” (Latent) at the Torre de los Ingleses together with Pihué and Daniel Bazán. In December that same year he held an individual exhibition at La Casona de los Olivera which is run by the Government of the City of Buenos Aires.

  In October 2004, his works were included in the collective exhibition Expontánea 04 held at the Spanish Cultural Center in Buenos Aires, and in November he took part in the AS+ AF exhibition given by the Alliance Française in Buenos Aires.

In February 2005, he inaugurated “Brillos & Silencios” (Sparks & Silences), an individual show of photographs, at the Recoleta Cultural Center in Buenos Aires. That same year he took part in the retrospective exhibition “Acido Surtido” (Assorted Acid) at the Architects’ Center in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe.

He presented the audiovisual installation “Desmesura” (Excess) at the Design Festival organized by the Metropolitan Design Center in Buenos Aires in 2006 with the participation of Pump Diseño and music by Daniel Melero.

“Aires” (Airs) was presented in July 2007, a joint installation-cum-exhibition with Alejandro Pihué, Daniel Bazán and Gabriela Mittulo. He was also invited to be the guest curator for “Basura, Diseño y Reciclaje” (Garbage, Design and Recycling) held at the Spanish Cultural Center in the city of Córdoba.

In 2008, he presented “Féira” (Fair), a photographic exhibition in the Encontré art gallery.

López has given numerous talks and presentations at universities all over Argentina and is also the founder of the art and design collective “Acido Surtido”, which has published a book and been declared of interest by the Argentine Secretariat of Culture.
